Magic in a Box

I love my mail man. Not only is he a pleasant guy, but he also brings many of our goodies from the lower 48. UPS and FedEx are usually the bearers of fun stuff down there, but they are an exceedingly high priced mode for goods to Alaska. Usually when "free shipping" is advertised on the internet, they almost universally exclude Alaska and Hawaii in the deal. Regardless of the rant, a couple of months ago I put my Visa on the line for the waiting list at Ritz Camera for the D300 as soon as I read about it. The EXIF data you will see from Scintilla tomorrow will be proudly emblazoned Nikon D300. I'm making no promises about the quality of the operation as I have a 420 page manual to sort through.

Edit: This is not my 300th blip. I apologize if I misled any of you to think such. Not a bad idea for a subject for my 300th blip in 74 days.
