Keeping things around for too long
Why do we do that?
I have finally decided to give away my potter's wheel and small kiln; no time and too much wrist pain to forcefully center the clay and pull up the walls of a vessel.
It's all about desire because truthfully, there is no such as can't. One can always find time and the will to do the things one really wants to do. I'm sure there's a way to throw pots that won't hurt painful joints and I can always cut back on blipping to make more time. :)
When people tell me they can't do this or that I get pretty irritated because what they're really saying is: I don't want to or I don't really want to try because it will be too hard.
I'm glad I didn't slave over the windows today because it rained tonight and it wouldn't have looked like I did anything. Instead I back-up data and did some research on classes, equipment and techniques.
And I snickered at this article. I've been thinking that about the TLC cable channel for a while; the biggest collection of garbage you can imagine.
