Sand Hill Cranes and Geese Take Off

On my way to work I noticed that Wagner's had mowed down their corn maze. I knew the field would be full of birds. I turned slowly into the dirt road so as not to spook the beautiful birds. I did not have a zoom so I got as close as I could and snapped a few pictures of the majestic birds calmly picking up the leftover corn. It was a beautiful cool morning.

All of a sudden there was a whoosh and the birds began to take off. A farmer sped by in his pickup truck, ignoring both me and the birds. A much more interesting picture when the birds are taking flight. Thank you Mr. Farmer.
