Calm seas, busy life

This is a 30 second exposure with a cross hatch filter (thus the starry light to the right) shot near where I work. I've been wanting to try shooting the sea like this for a while, and now that the darker season is here there's ample opportunity! (Come spring I should probably buy an ND filter...)
Edit: Oh right, there was a flashlight involved too :)

I'm in the middle of a "concert week" with the choir; we've been rehearsing Mon - Wed and tonight and tomorrow are concert nights. The concert is called "Score" and consists only of computer game music! It sounds a lot like movie music actually, and is very powerful and emotion-evoking. Here are some examples of the pieces we're doing tonight:

There will also be a C64-medley and a "Classic Nintendo"-medley :) (Since we're not singing in either of those, I haven't heard them yet and am much looking forward to finally hearing them tonight!)
