St. Martin Day Procession (cancelled)

I planned to take pictures of the children attending todays St. Martins lantern procession.

But late this afternoon it started raining really bad with strong winds. Stormy night is expected.

No walk for the little ones in the dark with the self-made paper lanterns, no St. Martin with his horse sharing his coat, no standing around the big Martins fire - I feel so sorry for the kids! So much work, so many thoughts. Very disappointing!

And not the desired blip for me.
Instead my dinner cooking.
