A Man About Town
My chum John popped over this afternoon to chew the fat and discuss the various headlines of the day - political corruption,
the implications of the French transport strike,
and the correct use of an umbrella.
As an Old Wykehamist he knows about these sort of things. He tells me that it's terribly bad form to roll your umbrella up tightly in the style of John Steed which is terribly gauche. It should be loose at all times.
The only exception is when it's used within the bounds of the City of London and then it should only be used to hail a cabbie, don't you know.
Isn't nice to know that all that money spent on his education wasn't wasted.
Makes you proud to be British.
****Please note The Dog Pasha pretending not to be with him.
