Johnny Walker Black Label whiskey tasting party

Apparently Johnny Walker is not as popular in Spain as it is in other countries, so they have private whiskey tasting parties to try and promote their product. We got invited to one at a friend's house on Halloween. Trivia question: why is the label placed at an angle?
