Flowers and shadows on Remembrance Day
About 300 or more attended service by the flagpole today - at least double the normal turnout the past few inclement years. This year was gorgeous fall weather. Mild. Sunny. And lots of gnats about - after we've had several frosts...
I took this photo late in the afternoon and liked how the shadows stretched away from the flowers as a kind of ghostly metaphor for the live flowers. So temporary. So fleeting.
Yesterday's blip: Looks like an angelfish to me
