Reeds for the Casks

Fishers Cooperage in the East End of Glasgow, is one of the few remaining coopers. They repair and refurbish whisky casks. Some are past their useful life and become garden tubs. Others are made ready for a new intake of the spirit that will become whisky. The reeds are used to plug gaps in the staves.
