Up, Up and AWAY!!!

As most of you are aware there have been severe winds over the last couple of days. One half of the collage shows our garden and our neighbours garden. When we got up yesterday I was aware that our 12ft trampoline had moved about 1.5m across the garden towards David and Esther?s. I then checked it again after school and noticed that we then had a bent net bar so spoke with John and decided to try and ?wedge? it in against the fence/house so that it wouldn?t move again. Around 9pm last night I looked outside and hey presto the trampoline had flipped over our fence into David and Esthers and had wedged itself off the ground between the top of the fence and the edge of there low ridge roof. Ahhhhhh - I called John in a panic (he is in Manchester and of no use to me at this time!), ?What do I do? I said.

I then knocked David and our her neighbour Scott to come to my rescue. They were out in the dark, cold, rain and wind at 10pm last night taking the fateful trampolines down!! The other picture in my collage shows the dismantled trampoline in our garage.

I felt sick when Ii found it ?dangling? in mid air but thanks to David and Scott I was able to sleep soundly knowing that everyone was safe from our flying trampoline.

When the kids got up this morning I lifted Little John at Jessica?s window and said ?the wind has blew our tampoline away?. They were devastated!

It will be staying in the garage until next summer.
