The birds

Still suffering from the lergy. Went for a stroll down to the beach at lunch time, which looks a bit of a mess after the storms. There was lots of crashing and banging in the night, but the roof seems to have weathered the storm. It is almost finished now and I go back to Sheffield on Monday.

The bigger birds (much better)

Edit: just heard that Henryk Gorecki has died. Here is part of the third movement of his third symphony; sad but beautiful. It's my favourite movement; quite hypnotic with its slow heartbeat/breathing rhythm which slows and dies at the end. Do have a listen when you have time, preferably the whole piece.
