Merihaka (Seafence in English) is often mentioned as the one of the ugliest area in Helsinki. That is usually said by those not living there, those living there mostly love the place.

Kallio and Sörnäinen used to be areas for so called lower class, meaning working people. Today also young and creative people fancy those quarters.

Perhaps that´s why so few apartments have lights on while others passing by are alreydy going to work :)

Weather quite similar to yesterday. A stripe of clear sky in the morning but also some blue skies during the day.
