Thou shalt not covert thy neighbours' Hippeastrum!

When checking next door was still unscathed by the wind and rain and gales, battering with seaweed and hail stones I noticed a wonderful splash of colour at the bottom of their garden. Today I went back with my camera and tool some shots of it. I had one in my greenhouse in my previous life, but this is outside, albeit sheltered amongst shrubs and by a fence, but it is doing grand and covered in flowers and buds; shall have a scrounge a bulb or two!

Very strange weather - we are in the eye of the storm and it is flat calm. Hope it continues as we are going to a bonfire party tomorrow evening and it just wouldn't be the same in a gale!
