Broken desk

A little while I blipped my desk in its new place in our dining room/study. This morning just as I got up from my desk (in search of a biscuit) one of the shelves above the desk collapsed and all the books cascaded down.

Tea everywhere (except on key board thank goodness) and books all over the floor. Then I noticed one of the struts that hold the desk flap up underneath the fallen books. Ripped clean off, well not totally clean, the dust on the carpet revealed why it broke fairly easily - wood worm!

Never-the-less I'm glad that lot did not fall on my head
