thai green curry

Just look what DS cooked for tea! It's the first time we've tried a TGC, we had a pack with the essential spices, but I didn't read the back, where it had a shopping list for the other things we needed (coriander, garlic,lemon and a few other things), so as usual with my cooking it was an improvised recipe.
It was very tasty.
Didn't get much sleep last night, the storm hit Sheffield, I didn't really want to go in the bathroom in the night in case the chimney fell through the roof.
day2 of my MA tomorrow, read the papers I had to read before the next session, it was on identity. The idea that we chose our identities, and (this is more complicated) we chose what we think other people think we are. so one of the examples was a man who feels excluded when he is overweight, even by his wife, who tells the researcher that she loves him what ever weight he is. He decides she can't possibly love him, and reads all the signs in that way, despite her repeated assertions that she does.
This might keep me awake tonight, pondering .....
