piles, drivers
hmmm... i'm a bit disappointed with how this turned out:
after last night's gale force winds, my route into work this morning involved cycling over a lot of fallen branches and through a lot of these piles of leaves. the swirling winds had blown them into these formations all along the main road i follow; knee deep piles, heaped up against the walls, interspersed with sections where the pavement looked like someone had swept it clean.
unfortunately, without a human figure for scale, in the photo, it just looks like your everyday autumn street scene.
by the way cycling through knee deep piles of leaves is not as much fun as you might think. they jam in your chain and wrap themselves round your sprockets and cause the chain to slip continuously, while you're struggling to keep enough speed up to pedal through them, without grinding to a halt.
