traveling by train

last night, long after the sun had set, my wonderful friend greg dropped me off at the train station to bid me farewell. and wishes of sanity on a 23 hour train ride north to seattle.

so today was spent chugging along through oregon (we had already passed the state line by the time i woke up) and washington. up over mountain passes and down into the valleys. through snow and rain we went! although i wouldnt want to make it my normal means of travel, it was quite a splendid adventure!

now onwards to the second leg of my west coast adventure :)
