Bowling not dusting

I was going to take a picture of this lovely glossy blackbird who sat outside my window this morning eating berries...then next door started up some leaf blower thingummyjig and frightened all the birds away : (

So then I went on the hunt for a bird book I thought I had. Couldn't find it, but enjoyed my bookshelves, of which I have many! Some of them are a bit dusty on close inspection, but I really can't be bothered. Found this little bowling lady when I was just a kid in a junk shop in Totnes. She and lots of other knick knacks keep my books company when I'm not with them : )
