Proud girl

I'm very proud of my proud girl. Yesterday she stood up in front of her pre-school friends and told them all a story that she made up. The only one brave enough to do it.
Today she decided to be a big girl and come collecting for the British Legion (or selling Poppies as she called it). She stood holding the tin for over an hour, despite complaining her feet were cold and the tin heavy. Tried explaining that heavy tin was good and why she should be pleased when people put in notes despite them making no noise. She was richly rewarded with a glass of water and a fruit scone back at the Legion and Mummy and Carys time all the way home. Not bad for a three and a half year old.
