Reid-Hillview Airport

On May 5, 1996, I flew a Cessna 152 (N68603) from San Luis Obispo (SBP) to San Jose Reid-Hillview (RHV), and then to Livermore (LVK) before heading south again with a stop at Salinas (SNS) and then back to San Luis Obispo. This was my long solo cross country flight that fulfilled a requirement for obtaining my private pilot's license. I logged a total of 5.2 hours of flight time with 4 landings. A little over a month later I got my private pilot certificate.

So, when I departed San Jose airport after presenting at FotoClave in Milpitas, seeing Reid-Hillview airport below after departure brought back a lot of great memories. It also made me realize all the more just how much I miss flying, and that I need to start doing that again...
