St. Paul's UCC of Indianland

We participated with other members of our photography club today to take family portraits. People donated can goods to the local food bank in exhange. We had a successful turnout and it was a great learning experience. Some children just were not going to smile no matter what you did!

On our way home we passed the St. Paul's U.C.C. of Indiandland. The congregation was founded in 1748. The U.C.C. bought this church from the Lutherans. This church's original cornerstone was in German and displayed a date of 1772.

We realize that in many parts of the world that many buildings are older than that. But for Pennsylvania - there might be a reason the name of the church includes Indianland!

Techie stuff - Photographed using a polarizer to capture the great colours and in processing an illustrator effect has been applied.
