Remembrance Sunday, 2010

It seems most of my week has been about Armistice Day, thoughts of remembrance or thoughts of those currently in conflict zones.

I was sure I'd finished with poppies for this year, but they hadn't finished with me. This morning I was up early and heard the Remembrance Sunday service on R4, and so today's blip is a poppy. An early blip for me, which is perhaps as well since the weather here is dreich again.

I notice with some satisfaction that the BBC have a reflection of veterans in a poppy strewn pond for their remembrance day lead.
