Autumn Leaves

Took half a day off work today and managed to get out and about near the house i.e. I had to pick Fay up from school.

Spotted some kind of tree/large bush with these lovely leaves (they are red) growing on it in patches - the rest of the tree was bare but these leaves seemed to be thriving - no doubt they will have blown off when I pass them again tomorrow.

As usual, I haven't a clue what the plant is - but it looks nice.
