Ear (after Imogen Cunningham)

We learnt about Imogen Cunningham (1883 - 1976) in our last photo class. I had to admit I had never heard of such a great female photographer.

Our homework is to produce a print like a Cunningham one. I've started with this one of an ear. Imogen photographed her twin boys a lot. One of the images, of an ear, shows the dense freckling of the child. As a redhead (in my youth, sadly not now) I was intrigued by the way the freckles showed up. I'm not sure I want to admit that this is my ear - the treatment I've used makes it look rather scaly or like an elephant!!!! All in the pursuance of photography.
