Fractals

Bleak, cold and misty day...bleurgh.

Still, we went out for a long walk with the boys and the dog.

Over the past few weeks I've been trying to take fewer shots and also to follow my heart. I tend to find that my best shot is my first thought...or it's one where I've had an idea and then work that idea until suddenly I know I've got 'it'.

Today's shot is a first thought. I spotted these wonderful ferns, dripping with moisture and somehow, out of all the ferns, this one was the one that called to me <shrugs>

I do love ferns. There's something very fractalish about them which appeals to my inner geek :-)

Roaring fire and hot chocs all round this evening.

Worth viewing large to see the fern reflected in the droplet.

Edit...meant to ask...does anyone know what sort of mushroom this is? Henry thinks it might have been carved by fairies, or possibly goblins but I'm guessing not!
