Family day - J's brother and our younger niece called round this morning, then we spent the afternoon with my Dad, step-mum, step-sister & her husband. We went to see step-sister's new house, currently a building site, but step-brother-in-law is working every spare moment to have it fixed before their baby is due in March. To be honest, given all that needs doing I think it will be a close call, but where there's a will there's a way, as the saying goes. I did start to say that it won't be the end of the world if the baby's room isn't finished in time but I'm sure I saw step-sis's bottom lip quiver, so I took my cue to shut up!
