An unseasonably hot night ahead

We all know those clammy, sticky nights when the bedroom seems like a furnace- but in November? And is it really likely unlucky residents of the BBC south-east region will be experiencing maximum temperatures of 71C (that's 160F!) tonight. "Phew, what a scorcher"- as they say!
