Repeating Flash

So I'm making my way through the 420 page manual of the D300. I'm paying particular attention to the features that are distinctly different or new from my aging albeit still beloved D70. One thing the D70 will not do is fire off repeating flash. So I thought I would showcase the strobe effect of the flash. Now I have to remember to shut it off so I don't strobe someone the next time I shoot a portrait and throw my subject into seizures.
