To 'leave' or not to 'leave'

Two trees in the back yard, the same species and age. The one on the left has lost 98% of its leaves. The one on the right has lost only about 15% of its leaves. The answer: The one on the right is closer to the house so, experiences more heat radiated from the house and less wind.
