Cold mornings

On the way to the bus stop this morning the ever thoughtful Zoe decided to announce that she would be requiring Ice Skates. Her undeniable logic behind this statement is that very soon it shall be very icy & slippery and that it may be faster to skate to nursery.

I could not raise any argument other than "You may fall and hurt yourself" to which the reply was "But once I learn I will be fine"


Is there anyway to defeat child logic using rational thought?
