My inheritance - Kilner Jars

I have a box of Kilner Jars that I inherited from Graham's side of the family. They're great for bottling (canning) produce from the garden and of course homemadeChristmas mincemeat.

I had to stop using them for a while as I ran out of the rubber rings. Thanks to the Internet, I was again able to find some. And yes, these jars really do date to pre-1948
