Path to Perdition
This is the path to the railway station that I take to work each morning. The Path to Perdition is closely related to the Road to Perdition but not quite so fast or busy. I've not yet seen anyone on it in the morning, but there is still the slight trepidation that someone might be lurking. However, I guess its too early for thugs and scallies and I should be more worried about the way home :-)
Apologies for the slightly blurry image - I was the human tripod for this and I was obviously marching too hard to hold my camera steady for the shot.
So, what is the relevance of the journey to the railway station I hear you ask? Well, some of you might think this is a bit scientific, but after we moved house I decided (Mrs 42's idea) to take the bus for a month and then the train. Having done my tour of duty on the bus, I'm now onto the train.
All things being as they should be, the train would win hands down (especially given that the bus is erratic at best - sometimes not even turning up), but the journey time is about the same because of the walk to/from the station at either end and the bus stop is just round the corner from the house. Long walk + Scottish winter = wet clothes and feet when arriving at work. So, its not a done deal, but I think the answer is get a bike to make the journey quicker and leave my suit in the office?
Have a good weekend everyone - I'm looking forward to our house warming party tomorrow night!

LOTD: Apple a Day's backwards book blip is a great TTV shot. It's the visual equivalent of a tongue twister - it looks right but you can't quite spot what's wrong with it...
