Shadows of the morning

Yesterday's blip was the sunset but I can't pretend this one is the sunrise - 7.40 is too soon for me to be out of bed on these wintry mornings. However it was still early enough for the sun's low rays to send shadowy fingers creeping across the field beside the house.
It is a line of fence posts on the right which throws these bars of shade, and in one of them I concealed my own shadow. I only stayed there long enough to take the picture. The grass was crunchy with frost.
