riveting
I know it doesn't have to be posted on the date taken but last time I left it until after midnight I forgot to change the date.
A bit of the ironwork on the bridge carrying the cycle path over Roseburn Terrace with rivets aplenty. I was hoping someone would bicycle past and provide a light trail but no-one did.
A day of shoes and mud. First of all I saw a pair of shoes swinging from a tree in the meadows on the way into work. At lunchtime I wandered through St. Cuthbert's graveyard to use up the last few shots of an experimental roll of photo-chemical camera 'film' to see if my old camera is still knackered (sounds like it is... ½ to 1/15 sec all sound far too short) I stepped in some dogshit which I've managed to avoid for several years. It's probably last night's near-miss catching up with me. Luckily there were still some big puddles in Princes Street Gardens to wash the worst off. A final wander in the evening got rid of a bit more after an afternoon feeling slightly guilty whenever anyone walked past my desk and checked their shoes. I say slightly guilty as the blame lies entirely with the selfish bastard who thinks it fun to leave their dog's shit in the middle of a path.
Lovely weekend. Might pop down to Cramond in the morning to get some dawn groyne-water shots. Walking in sand is at least one of the best way of getting stubborn, clingy nastiness out of a trainer's grip.
