Honoring the King

The king is extremely honored in Thailand. I can't think of any other group of people who respect their leader as much as the Thais respect their king. His picture is in almost every home and business as well as in public places like on the outside of buildings and in parks. Before watching a movie in the movie theaters, we stand in respect of the king as a short video is played showing pictures from his life. Here a new picture is being mounted outside a bank.
