The Sky
Well what a hot day we had - on our terrace it was over 34 degrees, so guess where I spent most of the day - inside.
During the day, at different times I ventured out with my camera to find a blip.
I had some scenes with glass and vaseline (sorry hpx - not successful), I had peony roses in a vase - lensbaby, I had Amber in the park, shadows from trees.
Then I met a young 'lass' lying on the grass in the park reading a book - away from other students for peace and quiet. She had a very large tattoo from the top of her thigh to her knee - flowers and butterflies - it was very colourful and she had had it about a year. I saw this as she was wearing short shorts. I admired it, and she allowed me to photograph her. At the end of the day even though she gave me permission I did not like to use it.
So after all that I still had nothing that I liked.
Then the sky started to colour up and look impressive, and it finally started to become cooler. So I took a photograph of the clouds, nothing startling - but I have never put up a sky before, and I felt that I have enough flowers up at present.
It will have to be, as I am not going out again with my camera.
