Tombstone

I live opposite The Old Cemetery in Chiswick. This is where we take our new dog, Casper, for his short puppy walks but this morning he didn't want to go as he's not well.
Whilst waiting for the sick puppy to do his business after throwing up in the car on the school run, I spotted some very evil looking black mushrooms that looked like they'd been in a fire. The fog was all around and the cemetery crosses looked kind of eery rising up out of the mist.
On seeing my images I settled on this shot of dew two droplets on a cross and noticed the very fine cobweb strand across the joint.
The weird melting mushrooms will have to wait for another blip as I couldn't do them justice today.
No doubt the dog will feature soon before he stops being a cute puppy.
Maybe I'll stick him in a boot or put some funny glasses on him!!
