Mussels

When we eat mussels, we like Elmer in the kitchen because he likes the sound the mussels make when we wash them.

Rinse the mussels under running water. Chop the celery, carot and onions in rings.
Melt the butter in a pan, add the onions, carot, garlic and celery, let them brown a little. Add a bay leaf.
Add the mussels, cook on a high heat. Stir frequently.
Cook until mussels are all open, which means they are done.
Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Serve with warm bread and garlicbutter and enjoy the weekend!
