We are each of us angels with only one wing

...and we can only fly by embracing one another.

Today's blip is part of the wings of the Christmas angel in Carlisle, where Jane and I spent the day wandering aimlessly.

It was a lovely fresh day, we wandered from shop to shop with no ulterior motive for shopping, (although a visit to Lush was almost compulsory!) getting bits and pieces; a new chess set for child #2, some new jeans and shoes for Jane and a Christmas present for my friend. We lunched, had coffee and talked politics and the failings of Governments as well as basking in each others company.
