Staples - That was Easy....NOT!

So tonight I was helping my friends pack up their house. I went to go underneath the ramp to the large truck they rented, tripped on the curb and slid on wet leaves. My climbing instincts kicked in and I grabbed the edge of the ramp.

Unfortunately, momentum took it's toll; I kept going forward, this time in an upward direction, hitting my head on the bottom of the ramp and splitting my scalp open a little more than an inch. Blood ensued and my friends ran to my aid.

The friends I was helping consist of an EMT and a girl scout leader.

They did initial triage and applied pressure and then drove me to the hospital.

It's there that I was stapled. 5 staples total. Fun times.
