Butterfly
Very busy day today! The weather was beautiful, sunny skies, no wind and about 22 degrees C (71F). Kaz dropped off 'Silver car' (our silver outlander, as opposed to 'blue car', our blue ford!) at the mechanics for a service then went for her run while I got Spence up and ready for daycare.
I dropped Spence off at daycare and then bought a 7L pressurised spray tank and then spayed 14 Litres of Roundup on our garden and paths! I sprayed the whole garden bed that goes along the boundary fence that we have to replace and then did all the weeds in the cracks between the brick pavers in our back veranda and path.
I then got the whipper snipper out and whipper snippered the whole back yard, side yard and the garden bed in the front yard which is all overgrown! I ran out of string in the whipper snipper though, so I didn't quite get to finish!
Then I got on the ride-on lawn mower and mowed all the three lawns! It all looks brilliant now but was hard work!
We had another guy come over and give us a quote to replace the boundary fence (ball park of $7000!) and then we went and picked up 'Silver car' from the mechanic, Kaz came home and I went and picked up Spence from daycare, then we went to the shops!
I went looking for today's blip in the back yard and found this butterfly (or moth??) sitting on the cute little blue flowers that are in the garden!
