Edinburgh Winter 3

Today I have come down with the cold, and as it is freezing outside, had to take this image from the kitchen window.

The hill in the background is called Athur's seat. It is actualy part of the queens Royal Park linked to Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh, and is an exctinct Volcano.

Edinburgh is actualy built on vocanic rock the most famous being Edinburgh Castle, more images of that later, when I am better.

Snow is forecast for later this week and I cant wait as we had four full weeks of deep snow last year making the city look like a giant ancient wedding cake dusted with sugar.

Hopefuly this links to strange / unusual but true, as not many Royal Parks are volcanoes !!
