Chess...

I've had this chess board since I was about 13 years old. Growning up, I couldn't get my brothers to play with me, they just had no interest in chess so I played with my best friend and joined a club. That was many years ago... Lately I've been getting back into the game online (gameknot.com).

Like many activities, there's far more to it than meets the eye. There are endless things to learn about tactics and strategy. Endless opening variations and pitfalls. To be good, you really have to study the game and that takes time. Something I seem to have very little of these days.

But I have to do something the exercise the old grey matter!
