The postman always rings twice.

Well, except for today - he didn't have to. I knew exactly what he was delivering and I don't think I've ever run to the door so quickly!

So here it is, my Christmas present to myself (as you can see from the mess, I got a little excited!).

Perhaps there are better cameras on the market but, then again, there are certainly better photographers and I'm sure it will do whatever I need it to. A lot different from my tiny little point-and-shoot one, it will take some getting used to but I'm looking forward to moving up to the next level, as long as I'm not too scared to actually take it anywhere!
