Pepperonata Pants

My love affair with Nigel Slater as a food writer is long standing. When I was in Sri Lanka I had my family post out to me his weekly Observer column, it was the only thing I regularly requested. Tonight I tried out his recipe for Pepperonata from Sunday's column. Well, pants is the only verdict I can give it. Boring as. It's the first time Nigel has let me down. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.
