Up to London again today for meetings at Imperial College - which meant I could slip off at lunchtime to the V&A.

The new Medieval Galleries are fantastic. Lots of blipping opportunities here: from sculpture to tapestries, and carvings to frescos. But I've chosen something that caught my eye on the way there, in the Middle East galleries. It's a very simple shot of a stone window panel. But the complexity of the carving and its mathematical tiling pattern are just beautiful.
