A very early-morning (only just today. even) blip opportunity at Haymarket.

As an aside - was thinking about this yesterday...

Ages ago when I worked in a record shop we staff members, along with various bands, musicians, music writers, etc were asked to contribute to some Scotland On Sunday newspaper piece and had to pick our top 5 albums and then write a sentence or two about our choices. Can't remember exactly what I wrote but the titles are still as clear as day.

Miles Davis - In A Silent Way
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
The Fall - Bend Sinister
Public Enemy - Fear Of A Black Planet
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Vol 2

I'd still stand by them more or less and have found myself listening to a fair bit of Public Enemy (righteous anger) and Aphex Twin (ambient soothing) in my spare moments. Next up - a little vintage Miles...
