A Real Friend

We had our good friends The Franklins in town last week, and we were fortunate enough to get to spend a few evening with them. The kids love to play together, and we really enjoy hanging out with Tammy and PJ. Unfortunately PJ couldn't make this trip, but we had a great time none-the-less. Anyway, on the last night, our younger one was clearly wiped out and was getting cranky quite easily. She kept coming up to me and my wife to have us "fix her hair clips", but no matter how well we got them in there, it wasn't good enough.

Eventually, we told her we were done putting the clips in and to stop asking. So what did she do? She went to her little friend Paul and asked him nicely to help her put her clips in. Of course he stepped right up and helped her just like a real friend would. It was quite cute as he so patiently helped her even when she told him a few times the clips weren't in her hair right.
