Up-to-date

The old village in the background and in the foreground the solar panels covering the roof of the Domaine des Pascales where we buy rosé wine, which is especially good. The electricity goes into the grid and they hope to use the money raised to employ another worker in the domain. It would be strange to see the older roofs in the village covered in this way, but on this new building it seems a good, sustainable way to produce energy.

On the wall underneath the panels, especially in large, you can see the Croix du Languedoc, as I blipped the other day, which appears on so many houses, old and new, in this area.

Warm (for November) and sunny, so I took the morning off work to wander around in the hills and vineyards taking photos - it was too good a chance to miss at this time of the year.
