My last blip from Donna Nook

A grey bull seal, he was huge and must have weighed a tonne!! i was very brave for this shot, crawling on my front in boggy wet sand, i edged closer and closer to this guy over a period of around 30 minutes. He was suspiscious at times but i think he thought i was just a strange looking seal! I was around 5 feet away when my courage failed me so i decided to stay put and wait for the right shot. In the 5 minutes i spent waiting the sun had just risen enough to project a lovely light onto the bull, so i clicked the shutter and slowly edged away as i was pretty sure i was pushing my luck by this point!!

cold and wet, but well worth it.
